Over a design career spanning Australia and South Africa, Karl has contributed to many major hospitals and healthcare facilities, including a number of complex projects in the state of Queensland.

He combines a deep understanding of functional needs and procurement methods in Health with a commitment to design excellence, ensuring project teams deliver exceptional outcomes for clients and communities.

Maintaining a consistent focus on timely and efficient delivery, Karl is highly skilled in managing consultant teams during the documentation phase of large, intricate projects. He also excels in detailing building elements during construction.

Karl comes to Architectus from Hames Sharley, where he was a Director and Queensland Studio Leader. While there, his key projects included the Bundaberg Hospital redevelopment and the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital.
