Professional Experience

John joined Architectus in 2017, working on the design and delivery of a significant new building within Macquarie University’s Central Courtyard Precinct redevelopment, a new hub providing a range of flexible learning and teaching spaces, F&B venues, graduation hall and associated amenities, completed in 2021. He has subsequently worked on designing and delivering The National Herbarium of NSW at the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan, a new state-of-the-art Herbarium facility designed to safeguard the growing collection of over 1.4 million botanical specimens.

John brings a thoughtful and holistic approach to his work. He demonstrates the ability to develop good relationships with the clients to understand and deliver on the users’ requirements and works efficiently with contractors to resolve technical and design problems through his delivery roles on the construction sites.
