Jessica has 10 years’ experience working on a range of public and civic buildings, with a particular interest in how buildings can deliver benefits for local communities.
Jessica enjoys the briefing process, finding it fulfilling to meet with different stakeholders and clients. She values hearing all the ideas and needs that contribute to a project’s richness, and takes pride in guiding clients and stakeholders through the design journey from initial concept testing through to final designs. She recognises that not all clients and stakeholders approach design in the same way, and tailors her communication style to ensure that everyone is informed and engaged. She excels at time management, ensuring that design teams meet contractual deliverables by clearly communicating deadlines. Her diverse experience includes projects across multiple sectors and typologies, such as galleries, theatres, multi-residential, commercial, educational, heritage, sporting, and social housing. She has led projects through all phases from early design through to construction, and has worked across a range of scales, from masterplans to detailed heritage renovations.
