Ingrid Anderson

Ingrid is a Senior Associate in our Health team with an ability to genuinely understand and translate people’s needs into thoughtful built outcomes. She brings a calm, people-centric approach to complex projects, balancing clinical and operational requirements with environments that support wellbeing and intuitive use.

With strong experience across all project stages, Ingrid is proficient in the full suite of contemporary design tools, enabling her to contribute from project definition and concept design through to documentation and contract administration.

Her work is characterised by functional planning, clear communication with clients and stakeholders, and a focus on design solutions that genuinely support users in their daily experience of a place.

Ingrid has a particular interest in the adaptive re-use of existing buildings, exploring ways to reimagine and renew our built fabric to create healthy, functional environments that respond to current needs, preserve identity and meaning, and remain relevant for future generations.

Before joining Architectus, Ingrid worked at BVN, where her key projects included the first stage of the Logan Hospital Expansion in Brisbane.
