Iain is an accomplished architect who has held key leadership roles on some of Australia’s most significant public and infrastructure projects. His experience includes contributing to the competition-winning New WA Museum Boola Bardip, leading major workstreams on the WestConnex M8 and M6 Stage 1 projects, and overseeing the $526+ million Ryde Hospital Redevelopment.
At Architectus, Iain is leading one of NSW’s most significant contemporary hospital developments, the $2 billion New Bankstown Hospital. In this role, he provides strategic oversight, clinical planning insight, and a calm, structured approach to managing complex stakeholder and consultant needs.
Across his projects, Iain is recognised for his ability to bring order to highly technical contexts, guiding multidisciplinary teams with clear frameworks, consistent communication, and a collaborative, supportive leadership style. His other strengths include project programming, consultant coordination, procurement strategy, façade design and construction detailing.
Iain’s multidisciplinary experience strengthens his architectural thinking, enabling him to craft coherent narratives, anticipate risk early, and produce high-quality documentation and design solutions that withstand rigorous technical, functional, and operational demands.
