Edward Armstrong

Edward is a Senior Associate with over 18 years’ experience running education, public and residential projects. Edward’s strengths lie in combining practicalities of client needs and the pragmatics of design briefs with the architectural vision of a project.

Edward has been the lead Architect on a number of award-winning projects throughout south east Queensland. His experience covers a range of building scales and typologies from public, community and health buildings, to complex refurbishments and large mixed-use developments. Edward also has significant education experience across primary, secondary and tertiary levels.

Edward is known for his attention to detail and strong communication and negotiation skills which he draws upon to overcome project challenges and facilitate the highest quality outcomes. He has a deep understanding of the design and construction process and values client needs and aspirations as fundamental to a successful project.

Edward has demonstrated his breadth of experience as a project architect on a number of education and residential projects within the practice. Recently, he has been project Architect for the documentation and delivery of the Pottsville Beach, Byron Bay, Wauchope and Old Bar Primary Schools for the NSW Department of Education.

Edward is approachable and collaborative and is able to navigate stakeholders through all stages of a project, from concept through to construction. Committed to learning and making, Edward utilises his keen creative interests and inquiring mind in his collaborative approach to design and visual communication.
