David Challinor

Based in Brisbane, David has extensive experience leading major Defence sustainment and capability projects of varying scale and complexity for both Air Force and Army. His range of skills enables him to work seamlessly across all project stages. He is equally at home engaging with stakeholders at project initiation and master planning phases through to documentation and the latter project stages. David has contributed to a number of standout Defence projects that have achieved industry recognition and exceeded client expectations, including facilities at Lavarack Barracks, Townsville and Larrakeyah Barracks in Darwin. David has a particular passion for building materiality and detailing developed through highly technical knowledge. He is known for his meticulous hand drawn sketches, whilst staying true to the initial building concept. He is also actively involved in providing mentoring to junior team members.
