Professional Experience

Ben Lehmann joined the Architectus Board as Chairman in 2014. He brings extensive strategic, financial and management experience accumulated over his career in real estate investment development and funds management.

He was General Manager of Property Investment at Laing O’Rourke from 2009 to 2015, and Fund Manager and Head of Real Estate at DEXUS Property Group from 1999 to 2008. His experience spans all major property classes both within Australia and internationally.

Ben’s influence on Australian city skylines is evidenced through many prestigious contemporary developments, including Architectus projects 1 Bligh Street, Sydney and 100 Mount Street, North Sydney. In both cases, he was responsible for originating the projects for the developers.

Ben has a Master of Business from the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
