Two projects shortlisted at the NSW Architecture awards

Harbord Diggers Redevelopment and Macquarie University Ainsworth Building are amongst the shortlisted projects at the 2021 Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) NSW Chapter Awards.

The NSW Architecture Awards shortlist has been announced with two Architectus projects shortlisted across this year’s Public Architecture, Educational Architecture, Residential Architecture – Multiple Housing, and Urban Design award categories.

An inviting, light, and airy building that reflects the wonderful Australian bushland context that is unique to the Macquarie University campus, the Ainsworth Building, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences has been shortlisted for the Education Architecture award.

Sited on one of Sydney’s iconic headlands, the Harbord Diggers Club Redevelopment is surrounded by spectacular coastal sandstone formations and native coastal landscape.
