The Langston development celebrates a project milestone

The landmark residential development The Langston in Epping has reached a major milestone with a topping out ceremony held this week.

Architectus CEO Ray Brown, Principal Farhad Haidari, Senior Associates Jennifer Husman and Gary Henighen, and senior team member David Ku attended the ‘topping out’ ceremony hosted by Cbus Property and Hutchinson Builders to celebrate the occasion.

The three residential towers comprising 462 apartments in total, will have a retail plaza with an extensively landscaped podium, creating a centric public plaza, and presents an opportunity for improved public interaction by activating the site just 200 meters from Epping railway station.

Gary Henighen said, “Central at The Langston will be a distinctive landmark in Sydney’s North-West with abundant amenity and premium features akin to that of inner-CBD apartment projects. It’s been fantastic to work alongside the leading team at Hutchinson Builders and Cbus Property to bring their vision for Central to life, and the topping out of the building is a momentous milestone.

“Architectus’ design thoughtfully responds to the changing market conditions, including the rapid growth of the region, links to the new metro line, and increased expectations for apartment living following the COVID-19 pandemic. Central will provide residents with a luxurious, hotel-style experience and externally, the tower’s curvaceous form maximises the spectacular 360-degree views over Sydney’s city skyline and the Blue Mountain ranges.”
