Milestone for Geelong Quarter

Construction gains pace for landmark Geelong development

Last week, Architectus celebrated a major milestone for the Geelong Quarter project with Franze Developments and IHG Hotels & Resorts. Our Residential Sector Leader, Oliver Mayger and Commercial Sector Leader, Matt Smith, joined the client onsite to mark construction moving forward on Geelong’s first major hotel and apartment project in 20 years.

Principal and National Residential Sector Leader Oliver Mayger said, “The Geelong Quarter mixed-use precinct will significantly contribute to the continued growth of the city, attracting a greater population and increasing the vibrancy of the area through new, world-class designed residential, hotel, retail and commercial space.

“The design of the lifestyle precinct embraces the future direction of Geelong, whilst celebrating its rich heritage through materiality, scaling and rhythm. Architectus is delighted to be celebrating the start of its construction today with IHG and Franze Developments.”
