Melissa Jenkins breaks the bias at Women in Aviation/Aerospace Summit

Senior Interior Designer at Architectus, Melissa Jenkins will speak at this year’s Women in Aviation/Aerospace Summit on 18 August – this year the Summit will reflect the International Women’s Day theme #BreaktheBias.

Melissa specialises in the aviation sector at Architectus. She has been involved in the development of an interactive simulation for airports including Melbourne Airport, Brisbane Airport and Perth International Airport – with a focus on improving the travel experience for people with disabilities and special needs. She’s passionate about inclusive design and the role designers and architects have in making users feel comfortable within the space.

#BreaktheBias raises valuable discussions across Australia and around the world. ‘Breaking the bias’ represents a huge spectrum of issues and challenges faced by individuals and organisations in the Australian Aviation, Aerospace, and Space sectors

The Summit will bring together leaders and change-makers across the sectors to discuss the topics raised across the country.

Australia’s pioneering speakers and leaders will share invaluable insight and engage at the National Museum, Canberra 18 August 2022. Read more about the A/AA Canberra Summit line-up here.
