Gary Henighen joins Australian Smart Skyscrapers Virtual Summit Panel
With over a decade of experience in the successful design, coordination, and realisation of complex high-rise, mixed-use and transport orientated developments, Architectus’ Senior Associate Gary Henighen will provide insights as a panellist on ‘Navigating a High-Rise World in the COVID era’ – looking at how we can make our future high rise buildings more sustainable.
The Australian Smart Skyscrapers Virtual Summit aims to bring together the architecture and design communities virtually to discuss, share and exchange ideas, serving as a platform to stay connected in these uncertain times.
With a portfolio of critically acclaimed luxury multi-unit residential projects, Gary Henighen will be joined by co-panellists Daniel Cruddace, Senior Practice Director at Architecture BVN, and Laurie Aznavoorian, Leader Strategy, and Research at BATESSMART.
The virtual summit held on Wednesday 28 April 2021 will attempt to address the systemic shifts across the high-rise sector in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and seek to redefine what a ‘smart’ and ‘sustainable’ tall building looks like. As the pandemic continues to impact property development and the financing of tall building projects, the panel discussion will explore how developers can navigate this new terrain.
