Flinders University fires up Health and Medical Research Building project

We are delighted to be working with Flinders University again on realising their new flagship Health and Medical Research Building (HMRB) at Flinders Village.

Anticipating a positive trajectory in research functions as the first building on the new campus, the HMRB will house state-of-the-art facilities, equipping researchers from the College of Medicine and Public Health and the College of Nursing and Health Services. Maximising researcher and clinician interaction with broader University and public, the building will accommodate new technologies to foster a collaborative environment.

The design targets both International WELL Building Institute and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.

Principal and Adelaide Studio Leader, Andrew Schunke said, “Health and Medical Research has been at the forefront of everyone’s minds over the last year and we are genuinely excited to be partnering with Flinders University in the design and delivery of this world leading project.”

Principal and Design Lead, Alan J Duffy added, “The design process has been developed with a sensibility for health, wellness and connection to country for what will be a new gateway experience to Flinders University.”
