Architectus Sydney hosts Committee for Sydney

The Sydney studio explored the impacts of urban transport on health and wellbeing

Passionate about the work we did with the Heart Foundation on Active Travel to School, Architectus was honoured to host the Committee for Sydney’s Healthy Streets event at our Sydney studio.

Key note speaker, Healthy Streets Director, Lucy Saunders FFPH discussed the impact urban transport has on our health and wellbeing, the challenges faced in urban areas and the approaches that can be taken to provide safer and healthier streets. Architectus Senior Associate, Nick Bucktin says, “We were very excited to host this event. Our streets are the most important part of our daily urban life and it was fantastic to listen to Lucy and discuss how we can apply this knowledge locally.”
