500 Women in Property Program kicks off with key partnerships

Congratulations to Ankita Agrawal, Eleni Gogos, Joanna Ahtypis and Melissa Jenkins on being selected to participate in the Property Council of Australia’s 500 Women in Property 2022 Program, which celebrates partnerships for professional growth.

In Adelaide, Senior Interior Designer Melissa Jenkins (left) joined Architectus in 2016 as a graduate Interior Designer. She is sponsored by Senior Associate Diana Rosenthal (right), a highly experienced interior designer and Senior Associate whose projects span the commercial, workplace, education, retail, and hospitality sectors. Diana excels in client engagement, including brief development, and consistently delivers successful, spatially designed projects. Diana is currently a key team member for the Flinders University Health and Medical Research Building.

Also in Adelaide, Senior Team Member Ankita Agrawal (left) is an Urban Designer with 16 years’ experience working in Australia, the UK and India. She is sponsored by Senior Associate Esther Mavrokki (right) who has over 25 years experience across public, residential, commercial and education sectors. She has managed design teams on award-winning projects including the distinct yet refined Cross building at Melbourne’s Federation Square.

In Perth, Senior Team Member Eleni Gogos (left) is a registered architect with over 20 years of experience in the design industry. She is sponsored by Mark Bredmeyer (right), a skilled architect and Senior Associate who has been designing and delivering stations and buildings across the public transport network for nearly a decade.

In Sydney, Senior Interior Designer, Joanna Ahtypis (left) is a passionate designer who has been with Architectus for over five years. She is sponsored by Principal Farhad Haidari (right) who has over 20 years’ architectural experience across multiple sectors including housing, multi-unit residential, mixed-use, commercial, retail, and master planning.  

The 500 Women in Property is an initiative of the Property Council’s national Diversity and Inclusion Committees. The Program officially launched last week, coinciding with International Women’s Day. It involves a personal commitment from Property Council members to identify and support women in their organisations who believe they would benefit from further networking and professional development opportunities.  

Congratulations to all the talented women across Australia who have been selected to be part of the Property Council of Australia’s 500 Women in Property 2022 Program.
