Three outstanding leaders promoted to Principal at Architectus

This week three outstanding leaders joined our Principal cohort at Architectus – Dr Kellee Frith, Nic Martoo and Vivian Sin.

Their recent promotions reflect the deep expertise and insight they offer our practice and our clients, as well as their unwavering dedication to design excellence across a range of markets, sectors and projects.

Principal Kellee Frith (Melbourne)

Kellee is an Education Environments Strategist with a unique understanding of how to design schools that support the latest approaches to teaching and learning. A Doctor of Philosophy (Design) and former tertiary educator, she brings a sense of curiosity and academic rigor to her collaborations with design teams on significant Education pursuits, including work with the Victorian School Building Authority and award-winning projects for Cranbrook School and Carey Baptist Grammar.

Principal Nic Martoo (Brisbane)

As Brisbane Studio Leader, Nic has spearheaded our transition to becoming a truly unified studio since our 2023 merger with Conrad Gargett, where he worked for more than 18 years. During his time there, he led international projects in the Middle East and Africa – work that saw him relocating to our Addis Ababa Studio for United Nations projects. A consistent contributor to the Public sector on projects such as they Queensland Ballet, he’s now a valuable member of our growing Defence team.

Principal Vivian Sin (Sydney)

Vivian is vital to the success of our Transport sector, which benefits from her strong technical knowledge in rail design as well as her highly collaborative approach to working with clients and teams. A sought-after mentor who leads by example, she has an impressive portfolio of rail projects from across the UK and Australia, including city-shaping developments such as the Suburban Rail Loop in Melbourne.
