The future of Bendigo

Principal Ruth Wilson presents the revitalisation of Bendigo TAFE City Campus

Bendigo is undergoing a renaissance; it was put on the map 168 years ago because of gold and is now valued for completely different reasons.

Hear from Architectus Principal Ruth Wilson and a panel of industry experts from a cross-section of design disciplines at the ‘Future Bendigo’ panel discussion during the Bendigo Open House event on 26 October.

An institution woven into the heart and history of the city, Ruth will present the Bendigo TAFE City Campus Revitalisation project.

With the development of a new learning hub, industry innovation centre, dedicated spaces for training in hospitality, hair and beauty, IT, creative industries, and foundation studies, the redevelopment features two new buildings and the adaptive reuse of two historic buildings.

The $60m upgrade of Bendigo TAFE highlights the government’s commitment to supporting the growing needs of students in the changing economy.
