More global recognition for the UNSW Health Translation Hub

Texturally rich, culturally informed and internationally recognised again. The UNSW Health Translation Hub (HTH) has been named as a Laureate in Prix Versailles World’s Most Beautiful Universities List 2026. 

“The UNSW Health Translation Hub is an expressive and highly collaborative building that gives physical form to our vision for the precinct, enabling world-class research and education to translate into tangible benefits for students, patients, and communities,” shared Matthew Todd, Architectus Principal.

“I am incredibly proud of our team’s international recognition for this ambitious project.” he added.

We’re honoured to lead the design team for the sole Australian university project chosen by the international jury.  

Serving as the cornerstone of the Randwick Health & Innovation Precinct, design was delivered in partnership with Yerrabingin and ASPECT Studios, and contractor, Hansen Yuncken. With majority funding by IFM Investors’ managed funds HESTA (through its healthcare property mandate with ISPT) and UniSuper alongside Plenary Group 

This comes after the recent High Commendation at the European Healthcare Design Awards and shortlisting at the World Architecture Festival Awards in the Higher Education and Research category.  

The Prix Versailles is a prestigious international architecture and design award announced annually in collaboration with UNESCO. It recognises outstanding buildings around the world for their excellence in architecture, innovation, sustainability, and cultural impact.
