Lucy Croft shares insights on State Library Victoria Redevelopment

Interior Designer, Lucy Croft spoke at the WIDAC State Library Victoria site tour yesterday evening, highlighting the conservation, alteration and adaptation of the library being undertaken in the $88.1M Vision 2020 Redevelopment.

Built are the Head Contractor of Vision 2020 and hosted the event for Women In Design And Construction, whose mission is to empower, inspire, challenge and actively support women within the design, construction and related industries by creating a community of resilient and like-minded individuals.

The site tour explored the next chapter in the Library’s history, revealing aspects of the library that have been hidden for decades and showing how generous benefactors, staff, stakeholders and the wider community have helped shape the vision which will ultimately increase the reach and relevance of the library for all Victorians.

Lucy is also a participant in the 2019 PCA 500 Women in Property program which champions women in their organisation or business sphere through networking and professional development opportunities.
