For the fifth consecutive year, Slattery and Architectus have partnered with the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival as sponsors of the First Nations Engagement Programme, delivered with Mob in Fashion.
The First Nations Runway show is a calendar highlight for our practice and partners. It’s where the very best of Australia’s First Nations talent come together for the Beyond Blak Runway in a powerful showcase of culture, creativity and contemporary design.
When we first came on board as sponsors of the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival x Mob in Fashion Pathways Programme, we couldn’t have anticipated the impact. The Programme creates paid employment and career pathways for both designers in the spotlight and creatives behind the scenes across styling, production, marketing, journalism and event delivery.
Five years on, we’ve seen what’s possible when extraordinary First Nations talent is embraced and celebrated on a platform as powerful as this festival.
