Brookfield Place Sydney makes finals for two state awards from Urban Development Institute

Brookfield Place Sydney by Make Architects and Architectus for Brookfield Properties has been named a finalist in the 2022 UDIA NSW Crown Group Awards for Excellence in both the Commercial Development, and Sustainability and Environmental Technology categories.

Located in the heart of Sydney’s central business district, Brookfield Place Sydney features a PCA Premium Grade, 6 Star Green Star, and 5.5 Star NABERS Energy rated office tower (10 Carrington Street).

The fully integrated, transit-focused precinct incorporates:

  • the restoration of heritage buildings Shell House and 285 George Street
  • new premium retail spaces and pedestrian connections between George Street and Carrington Street
  • a world-class Transit Hall for Wynyard Station, and
  • the revitalisation of Carrington Street as one of Sydney’s premium addresses.

The result: a world-class destination that will transform the way the public experiences this prime city location.

UDIA (Urban Development Institute of Australia) NSW is a leading industry body representing the interests of the NSW property development sector. They’ll be announcing all the award category winners at a gala event on 12 August in Sydney. View the full UDIA NSW award shortlist here.
