Barrack Place receives Platinum WELL Certification

Barrack Place recognised as world-leading wellness building

Barrack Place, one of the few buildings that successfully fuses Sydney’s heritage with world-leading wellness design and technology, has been awarded the Platinum WELL Certification by the International WELLBuilding Institute™ (IWBI™).

The project, which is located on Sydney’s longest city block, not only opens up the gateway to the emerging western corridor of Sydney but also supports the health, wellbeing and comfort of the thousands of people who work and visit Barrack Place every day.

Previously, Barrack Place held the title of Australia’s first-ever WELL Core & Shell Precertied Gold building and this upgrade to a Platinum rating is a reflection of the pioneering design and technology innovations well beyond the pre-existing standards of building sustainability and wellbeing.
