Stephanie, who was born in the East Sepik Province in Papua New Guinea, has been discussing the refurbishment of the National Museum and Art Gallery, introducing the museum staff and refurbished spaces through a series of photographs to illustrate how the power of mutually respectful collaboration has led to the stunning end result.
The National Museum and Art Gallery of Papua New Guinea was first opened in 1977. In 2015, Architectus won the Australian Government funded contract to design the refurbishment of one gallery space and has since completed Built on Culture exhibition and the remaining four exhibition designs for each of the galleries and associated interpretive graphics and landscape design.
