Architectus provides planning services for Westmead Children’s Hospital

Architectus is working with Health Infrastructure NSW to provide statutory planning services for stage 2 of the new The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

With the current climate, supporting and maintaining the prioritisation of the health infrastructure has never been more critical. Architectus has been appointed to undertake statutory planning services for the NSW Government’s $619 million redevelopment of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead Stage 2 on behalf of Health Infrastructure.

Architectus will lead the planning process from the preparation stage to post-lodgement, working closely with a diverse team of specialist consultants and government agencies to achieve planning approval.

Working with Health Infrastructure and the project team, we will provide advice on planning approval pathways to support the vision and master plan for The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Development of the Paediatric Services Building presents an exciting opportunity for The Children’s Hospital at Westmead to expand its clinical services and provide the very best services for sick children and their families.

We have previously been engaged to provide statutory planning services to Health Infrastructure for the major redevelopment of Westmead Hospital’s new Central Acute Services Building and Innovation Centre.
