Growth Areas School Project (GASP) receives ministerial award

GASP wins Ministerial Award at 2019 Victorian School Design Awards

The Growth Areas School Project (GASP) was recognised at the 2019 Victorian School Design Awards, winning the Minister’s Award for school design.

Architectus Principal and National Education Sector Leader, Mark van den Enden said, “In collaboration with K2LD Architecture, it has been a fantastic team effort that has delivered significant social infrastructure for growing communities. The GASP project will shape the minds of so many generations into the future and ultimately communities in the growth areas will be the beneficiary.”

Growth Areas School Project (GASP)

The design methodology has been developed through three distinct phases; analysing each site, developing template designs for six P-6 schools, two P-9 schools and two senior schools, and the development of template / site specific documentation for D+C procurement for $220m of works within a 12-week program.
