Architectus is working with the Victorian Planning Authority (VPA) to explore ideas for how Melbourne’s Preston Market precinct can be renewed for a mix of uses, and retain a working and exciting market at its heart.

The Preston Market precinct makes an important contribution to Preston and its community providing a destination for food, multicultural experiences, meeting friends, events and more.

We have worked closely with VPA, Darebin City Council, the land owner and community representatives through a series of workshops to develop a draft vision and objectives for the renewal of the site.

As a result of the workshops key design drivers and urban design principles have been developed that will inform future planning for the precinct.
