Rachael Nesbitt

Rachael is an Urban Planner with professional experience working in the local government, private and not-for-profit sectors. Having completed both a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Sydney and a Bachelor’s degree majoring in English and Sociology, Rachael specialises in strategic planning, policy analysis, social impact assessment and demographic research. 

Prior to joining Architectus Rachael was employed in the social and economic planning team at HillPDA where she worked with not-for-profit, private, and state and local government stakeholders on projects such as the Housing Diversity Study, University of Western Australia Accommodation Demand Study, and Northern Beaches Hospital Roadworks Social and Economic Impact Assessment.

Rachael has experience working with the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework, reviewing and preparing Community Strategic Plans, Delivery Programs and Operational Plans for local government. Rachael is a graduate of the LGMA Mentoring Programme, researcher for the Australian Centre of Excellence in Local Government Public Values Working Group, and guest lecturer at UTS.
