Education project shortlisted in 2019 Australian Interior Design Awards

Staff and student hub recognised in Australian Interior Design Awards

Architectus’ design for a temporary staff and student hub at Macquarie University, C7A MAZE, has been shortlisted for this year’s Australian Interior Design Awards.

Architectus has transformed 6000 m2 of Macquarie University’s C7A MAZE into a temporary staff and student hub.

Incorporating the conversion of the original campus library and levels 3, 4 and 5, the project, designed to last approximately 5 years, provided an opportunity to expand and challenge current paradigms for student and staff environments, and to take occupants out of their comfort zones with new ways of working and interacting.

C7A MAZE is the first phase in a sequence of projects designed by Architectus set to transform the central courtyard precinct at Macquarie University.
