Cecilia Martinez

Cecilia is a Dominican Republic-accredited architect with professional experience gained both locally and internationally. Her experience includes working across all project stages on medium to large scale projects, including urban design and master planning. In 2015, Cecilia joined Grimshaw’s Melbourne Metro Rail Project team to work on the design of the metro stations. Since then, she has extended her experience in the transport and infrastructure sector working on a number of significant transport projects in Sydney, Melbourne and regional Victoria.

The challenge to problem-solve with restricted conditions and functional design constraints is a skill that has driven Cecilia to appreciate the creation of desirable architectural spaces and find a balance between form and function while achieving practical solutions for her clients.
