Architectus welcomes two new Principals

Andrew Shields and Sean Bett join Architectus leadership team

Architectus continues to strengthen its leadership team following the appointment of two new Principals, Andrew Shields and Sean Bett.

Andrew brings to Architectus over 35 years of international experience on a wide range of projects, including primarily specialist technical rail infrastructure projects. Based in Hong Kong for the past 23 years, Andrew has overseen a range of international rail projects from large scale high-speed rail through to commuter rail and automated people mover systems as Project Director and Discipline Leader. Andrew will lead the delivery of key NSW rail projects and play an important peer review role for national rail projects.

Sean also brings 30 years of experience to the Architectus leadership team, including 23 years as Principal and Discipline Lead at HASSELL where his primary focus was large-scale workplace projects. Sean led many major workplace projects nationally and is well regarded for his passion for high-quality design and client outcomes.

Architectus welcomes two new Principals

Architectus Managing Director Ray Brown said, “The appointment of Andrew Shields and Sean Bett reflects our commitment to providing our national clients with leading design.”

Andrew said, “The team at Architectus understands how important integrated aviation and multi-modal transport infrastructure is to the economic, social and environmental sustainability of our cities. I am very excited to be joining Architectus and to have the opportunity to deliver high-quality transport infrastructure in NSW and across Australia.”

Sean said, “I am very excited to be joining the growing Architectus design studio and to have the opportunity to deliver exemplary workplaces with a focus on functionality, design quality and wellbeing.”

These two appointments follow a period of growth for Architectus.
